Regina’s “Wasteside” from her 2001 “11:11″ album. 11:11 is still available for digital download purchase from Amazon.com and CDBaby.com, amongst others. — I was sleeping by the wasteside of tomorrow But it’s better than sleeping by the wasteside of today All the barbershops and funeral homes were open, oh And the customers were coming And the business was doing great I was sleeping by the wasteside of tomorrow Dreaming dreams and drooling on my bed All the people in my town would be born And they’d, and they’d get themselves a hair cut, and then Promptly after they’d be dead I was sleeping by the wasteside of tomorrow When a drunk girl awoke me on the train But I did not hear her mumbling And I did not hear her stumbling As I dubbed myself a passenger And kindly stepped away I was sleeping by the wasteside of tomorrow, of tomorrow I was sleeping, I was sleeping by the wasteside I was sleeping, I was sleeping by the wasteside of tomorrow I was sleeping, ladies and gentlemen I was sleee-eeeahhhh I was sleeping by the wasteside of tomorrow But it’s better than sleeping by the wasteside of today All the barbershops and funeral homes were open And the customers were coming And the business was doing so, so great

Pigweed Philosopher (Original Soundtrack from the Motion Picture) iTunes: www.itunes.com Amazon: www.amazon.com The award-winning score to thefeature documentary Pigweed Philosopher: The Untethered Zen of Kimball Johnson (2009) was composed by film composer Vince Lauria. The score won the Gold Medal for Excellence at the 2009 Park City Film Music Festival. The film was also Winner (Documentary – Foreign) at the 2009 London Independent Film Festival, Winner (Documentary – Foreign) at the 2009 Toronto Independent Film Festival, Winner in the 2009 Moab Film Festival, and was an Official Selection at the 2009 Port Townsend Film Festival. Pigweed Philosopher | www.pigweedphilosopher.com Kimball Johnson is a non-conformist with a heart—and someone willing to lose everything to tilt at windmills. In the style of esteemed documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles, documentary filmmaker Gabriel Lakey spent six years following this true American original. Some might call Kimball Johnson crazy, some might call him foolish, and others might call him enlightened, but pursuing his passions headlong without a harness can bear a heavy price. Would you be willing to lose everything you owned for the feeling of having tried and lost? Is this pigweed philosopher an unconventional genius who figured out that life is best lived at the outer fringes or is he just the quintessential Don Quixote of broken dreams who never found his way home? Regina is so amazing. I have yet to find a song of hers that I don’t like. Her voice is flawless and her music is beyond incredible.

Sooo addictive. love regina’s style of jazz…
@deetardeded Really who cares so long as they get to hear her beautiful voice?
This song has an amazing meaning. For the first three verses she falls asleep (sleep meaning death, because of the funeral houses), then she wakes up after screaming in her own dream! Back to life…
this song makes me feel like Lazy….but the good kind *Yawn*
